After a few months after commercial launch of the normal version, the Fiat Professional has released the first photos and features official new Fiat Panda Van 2012. In short, the replacement arrives the best seller of the 1st segment of so-called ‘ Car Derived Van ‘, able to combine once again the driving characteristics and comfort than a normal car, cargo capacity and lower operating costs of a small van. Aesthetically the new Panda Van resumes normal design 2012 Fiat Panda, although there are some typical elements of a car, van, such as black plastic pig. The front and rear bumpers are standard in black embossed for the two seats, but on request it is possible to have those in body color. Similarly tinted rear glass also are standard for the two-seat version and with the so-called ‘ roll load compartment cover (optional available from October) allow to hide what it delivers.

Available in 9 colours and a list of extra colors, series outside dimensions are exactly the same as the regular Fiat Panda: 3.65 m long, high and 1.55 1.64 metres wide is a perfect car for the city, especially considering the small turning circle of just 9.3 meters. The Interior remained the same as the normal version, equipped with a level of ergonomics and finishes (although the latter are negligible on this media type) already at a good level. Fiat Panda Van 2012 you can choose with two or four seats on board. On the two-seat version the cargo compartment has a volume of about 1 cubic meter, with a maximum length that can be up to 1.2 metres. Also the innovative and practical floor ‘ easy ‘: this solution eliminates the difference in elevation between the loading Bay and the edge of the tailgate, facilitating the loading operations as a commercial vehicle. The load capacity is also 500 kg, including the driver.

Fiat Panda Van:

Engine-level the new Fiat Panda Van you can buy with two engines: a gasoline and a diesel engine. The first is the 1.2 litre EVO II by 69 BHP at 5500 rpm and features 102 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Fiat declares an average consumption with this 5.2 liter engine every 100 km (approximately 19.2 km/l), combined with emissions of only 120 g/km of CO2. The other engine is the 1.3 16v Multijet well-known capable of delivering 75 HP at 4000 RPM maximum power and torque of 190 Nm at 1500 rpm. With this engine, capable of pushing the Panda Van up to 168 miles per hour, the small Turinese consumes only 3.9 litres of diesel per 100 km (equivalent to 25.6 km/l), with CO2 emissions of 104 g/km.

Fiat Panda Van: Equipment

The standard is very complete: they range from the classic ABS complete with B.A.S (Brake Assist System), with four airbags (front and side), front seat belts with pretensioner and load limiter. On some markets, but it is not known yet what the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) system with Hill-holder (which assists the driver in Hill starts). On request you can also have the Panda Van the useful navigation system Blue & Me TomTom. The prices? Starting from € 8,850 1.2 69 BHP in standard version, to a maximum of € 11,700 diesel in richer.
